this is the original artwork used to create the poster for the october 2015 joshua tree music festival

the story.....i often begin drawing without any solid concept of how the piece will end up....i just start!
this was a piece that i completed, and then just didnt feel like i could see enough of the image....so i started a second piece to add on to the right hand side of it, enabling the vision to encompass more of the horizon...at that point i realized where i wanted to put band names and used just the right hand side to create what would become the poster for that fall's festival
 
the full 2 part image was used to create a long canvas print you may have seen in my booth
