I carry a 4"x6" sketchbook with me to every show I attend, knowing that at some point the urge to draw will inevitably come up!...When that moment strikes, I quickly draw the performers in a very fast gestural way, trying to capture the moment...I've equated these sketches to a musician taking a solo during a heavy jam...a majority of these are done in 60 seconds or less (though there are a few obvious exceptions...whenever I am blessed with the opportunity to draw in peace, such as at a sit down show where I don't have to dodge elbows and splashes of beer, I'll often take a little more time on the sketches). I printed an edition of 10 of each of these 25 sketches...4" x 6" on Hemp...all are signed and numbered. Each of these sketches were originally framed in simple wooden frames. These sketches were released on April 20, 2006.
